Many depictions of a utopic world revolve around skyscrapers with greenery cascading down the side, high tech that feels from a far distant future, and flying machines - all seen as a sign of progress. However, what does a more grounded, 'traditional' version of a utopic world look like? One rooted in working with nature as equals, taking from the very structures and indigenous systems from which we came? For this project, I want to envision what this alternate future would look like: where we work with the land in building meaningful, climate resilient communities that uplift vulnerable populations, like in this case- the Bangladeshi people in the lower deltaic region
